Refreshing Strawberry & Jalapeño Margarita

This refreshing margarita is a twist on a the classic strawberry margarita. It is quick and easy to make! Literally can be made in under five minutes. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and spicy in every sip.

Summer Time!

If the weather is above 65F degrees….you can find us in the backyard with a margarita in one hand and a great book in the other. We are huge fans of margaritas! This time of the year gives us an excuse to make them. We love making this Strawberry and Jalapeño Margarita on afternoons when we want something that excites our taste buds. The hits of spice with sweet is the perfect duo. It pairs great with chicken tacos.

Instructions

Combine strawberries, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, honey and a few slices of jalapeños (optional, you can garnish if you don’t want drinks to be spicy) in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Pour liquid into a shaker, add a little more honey and lime if needed. Shake with a handful of ice for about 30 seconds or until Margarita is chilled.

Strain the Margarita over ice and garnish with strawberries, limes and jalapeños.
