Do you ever have a week where you crave something so badly, but know it is bad for you? I’ve been having a week like that. I want SUGAR!! Your girl needs SUGAR!
However, I am trying to be better at monitoring my sugar intake.
So how do we find a balance between a yummy treat and healthy?
The solution… BLISS BALLS.
You may have heard of bliss balls in different forms (power balls, date balls, health balls.) Either way they are delicious and nutritious!
The beauty of making bliss balls; they are simple to make!
Using a food processor, add almond butter, add oats and chia seeds.
Lastly, add honey! Then pulse together in processor.
The consistency will be a sticky dough.
Roll dough into bite-size balls.
Roll balls in coconut flakes (if desired)
In a small microwaveable bowl, melt chocolate.
Dip half of the bliss ball into chocolate and then into sprinkles. Let dry!
Store balls in fridge in an airtight container!
Hopefully these cute little balls last through the weekend. The perfect treat for yourself, the kids, friends and family!
