Life can become so fast paced. I often forget to slow down through out the week. One on my 2020 goals is to slow down for least 2 hours a week.
Studies show that “me time” can help us in so many ways. Being able to spend time with your self has been linked to increased happiness. Being able to handle stress better. You feel more satisfied with life. Having a brain fart? Spending time alone can help your creative juices. It can help with productivity levels also!
“Me time.” It is so crucial for our mental health.
On the days that I have my “me time.” I do whatever I want. Whether that is sit on my couch looking out the window or going on an adventure somewhere.
On days that I choose to stay in. I make myself this Lavender Kombucha Spritzer. It’s refreshing and it puts my soul to ease!!! It is all the good vibes in a cup.
Lavender Power & Kombucha Power
Lavender: It’s not only a beautiful flower that smells good. I spray Lavender essential oil on my pillow before bed because it is known to help with sleep and anxiety. It may help treat blemishes on skin. It may even help with headaches.
Kombucha: Kombucha is known to help our digestive system. It has probiotics that help maintain gut health. It contains antioxidants that are great for our bodies. It may even help reduce certain health conditions.
- Gather all ingredients.
- Fill an 8 oz cup half way with ice.
- Pour 1 oz of Lavender Syrup, coating the bottom of the glass.
- For your middle layer, add 3 oz of MACA Berry Kombucha.
- Next, splash 1 oz of chilled sparkling water.
- To top it all off, sprinkle Organic Lavender Flowers to garnish.
