Crisp, tender baked zucchini sticks with parmesan cheese and thyme oven-roasted to absolute perfection! They are healthy, nutritious and absolutely delicious!

Zucchini and parmesan cheese are a match made in heaven. These baked zucchini sticks make eating veggies way better! They are addictive and will leave you wanting more.

Baked zucchini sticks make the perfect appetizer for sports gatherings, game nights, and other fun parties that you may have this fall season. My husband already told me he wants me to make these all football season long. There is not deep frying or saturating of any kind which make these a wee-bit health!

Zucchinis are one of my favorite vegetables to grow in my summer garden. Not only are they tasty in a wide variety of dishes but they also hold some vital nutrients in them. Holding vitamins like; Vitamin A, Magnesium, Vitamin C and many others. They are rich in antioxidants which may help aid with your eye and skin health. It may also help promote a healthy digestive system! Zucchini is rich in water and has a low calorie density, which may help you feel full.

 

What dip to use?

This recipe is so easy to put together. Before you know it the zucchini sticks will be ready to enjoy. There are a variety of dips you could dip these zucchini sticks into. My ultimate favorite is ranch dip……my gosh. Delicious! These also pair well with zucchini sticks, green goddess dressing and hummus, They can also be enjoyed with out any dip!

Baked Zucchini Sticks with Parmesan Cheese

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350F degrees. In a bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, thyme, and remaining spices, until well combined.
  2. Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Then arrange the zucchini sticks skin-side down. On the baking pan, Bruch each zucchini stick with extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture on top of each zucchini stick.
  4. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. Then put under broiler for 2-3 minutes until the topping is crispy and brown. Be careful not to leave under the broiler too long.
  5. Serve with your favorite dip such as ranch dressing, hummus, ect. These zucchini sticks are perfect to serve as an appetizer, as a side with burgers, pizza and much more!
