Mummy Jalapeño Poppers

These savory mummy jalapeño popper are perfect as a Halloween appetizer or dish for your Halloween party.
My husband and I are having a mini Halloween party this year. By mini, I mean just our dogs, him and I. These cute little mummy jalapeño poppers will be on our Halloween spread. They come together in under 20 minutes and use minimal ingredients! Perfect for the spooky night ahead!

If you are looking for some Halloween themed party food, these are perfect! They are such a simple appetizer to prepare. You won’t have to spend too much time putting them together.
What ingredients are needed?

You won’t need too many ingredients to make this recipe. When you are at the grocery store look for slight larger jalapeños. That way when you fill them there will be plenty of space.
Jalapeños
Softened Cream Cheese
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Salt
Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
Crescent Dough
How to make Mummy Jalapeño Poppers?

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut jalapeños in half and remove the seeds. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the jalapeños. Overfill the jalapeños just a little bit.
Unroll the crescent roll and cut into 1/4 inch strips. Wrap the jalapeños around, crossing them over like a mummy. Do the same process with all 14 jalapeño halves. Bake in the over for about 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Finally, transfer the jalapeño poppers onto a serving dish and add the candy eyes!
