Summer maybe months away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a delicious margarita in December. There are no rules, especially this year!

This year many traditions have been broken and new ones have been made. Things we used to do during this time of the year, we aren’t doing. A new tradition that we started this year was getting our Christmas tree extra early. Considering everything that has been happening, we felt it fit to lift our spirits by getting the tree early.

However, we didn’t decorate the tree until weeks after getting it. Needless to say, things have been also going a bit slower than usual!

Comfort First

This year decorating the tree looked a little different with a margarita in one hand, while wearing some really cozy pjs thanks to our friends at Torrid! These super soft plush white wide leg pants and top were the perfect pjs set to get decorating in! Comfortable, warm and so so soft! I may just have to decorate in my pjs from now on. I don’t think I could ever go back now, a new tradition?

Perhaps, and I don’t mind it one bit. Something else that is new this year while decorating the tree, sipping on this snowy day margarita! Let’s be real most of 2020 has been spent in pjs and drinking various drinks, so why not continue doing so through the Holiday season?

Dressed But Nowhere To Go

You maybe thinking to yourself, Marta why in the world would I dress up if I have nowhere to go?

Listen just because this year has been a little different, or like me, you’ve spent most of the year in your pjs. It doesn’t mean you can’t get all dressed up for the Holidays and feel bougie even though you have nowhere to go! Dressing up can be a lot of fun. This gold mesh embroidery and sequin midi dress is perfect to dance around in. Just blast some holiday music (or your favorite type of music) and slip into your fanciest fit and mix yourself a drink!

Dance around in the living room. Do a virtual cocktail hour with friends and family. Snap a few photos for your social and show people what you are doing to pass the time! We can still be together even from afar. Just because things look a little different this year, doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun!
