Spooky season is here and almost gone! What better way to celebrate this season then with an easy to make Spooky Oreo Brownie recipe. With hints of peanut buttercups and Oreos it brings back the nostalgia of trick-or-treating!

  • 1 1/2 cup organic cane sugar
  • 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cups cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 9 Reese and M&M peanut butter cups
  • 9 double stuffed Oreos
  • 9 eyeball sugar candies
  1. Preheat oven to 325F degrees. Lightly spray a 9x9 dish or line with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, baking powder, chocolate chips and salt.⁣

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, water and vanilla.

  4. ⁣Slowly mix in the wet ingredients with the dry until just combined (we don’t want to over mix!)

  5. Pour half of the batter into the pan. (It’s going to have a thick consistency, that’s okay!!) use a spatula to smooth the top of it. Then add a layer of Oreos and peanut butter cups. Then pour the rest of the batter on top. Smooth out and add the an other layer of Oreos and peanut butter cups and a few eyeballs.

  6. ⁣Bake for 40-49 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with only a few crumbs attached to it.

  7. You can serve these Spooky Oreo Brownies warm, or wait for them to be cooled off. Store in an airtight container for 3-4 four days at room temperature or freeze

* Note when the brownies come out of the oven they will be gooey in th middle. They will set as they rest!
