Preheat oven to 350 degrees F*
Spray a donut pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. (Don't have a donut pan? Thats okay. Turn a cupcake pan upside down and spray it!)
In a large bowl, whisk together choice of flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In a small bowl, whisk together egg, milk, melted butter, an vanilla.
Add wet ingredients into dry ingredients, and stir together. All ingredients will be combined. (Try not to over-mix, over mixing can cause non-fluffy donuts!)
Spoon batter into a large ziplock bag or pastry pipette. Cut the corner off at the bottom of the ziplock bag or pastry pipette. Pipe into each donut cavity. (if using other side of cupcake try, follow the cirlce formation of the cupcake tray with the pipette or ziplock.) Fill about 3/4 way.
Bake in over for 8-10 minutes.
Take out of oven, place onto a wire rack until cool enough to handle.
