The Perfect Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting
This 6 ingredient recipe is easy to make and pairs deliciously with cupcakes, cakes, cookies and many other desserts! Lightly frost 24 cupcakes or add a generous amount to 12 cupcakes....just depends on your mood!!
- 1/2 cup vegan butter Earth Balance
- 8 oz lactose free cream cheese Green Valley Creamery
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- 3-4 tsp lemon zest
- 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Combine butter and cream cheese in a bowl and mix together. Beat until its creamy and lump free.
Add vanilla extract and salt
Mix in lemon zest.
Have your mixer on slow. Gradually add powdered sugar until throughly mixed in with creamy cheese. It will be very creamy.
Use to frost completely cooled off cupcakes, cakes and cookies!
