Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line a 9’ x 13’ baking pan with parchment paper.
In a food processor combine all-purpose flour, graham crackers, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Plus until everything is the same consistency, like flour.
Then add egg and vanilla. Pulse food processer a few times until mixed together.
Add melted butter into mixture. Pulse until combined.
Pour mixture onto the pan. Then press mixture into the bottom of the pan, until it is one even layer across the parchment paper.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
While the crust is baking, cut marshmallows in half. Then set aside.
Once the crust is out of the oven, immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the crust. The chocolate chips should cover the whole pan. Then let the chocolate chips sit for five minutes.
After 5 minutes, use a spatula to evenly spread the melted chocolate across the crust.
Line marshmallows over melted chocolate, until they fill the pan. (About 6 marshmallows down and 9 marshmallows across per row)
It’s time to brown the tops of the marshmallows. Set oven to broil. Place pan in oven. This part is up to you. If you prefer your marshmallows with a light brown color leave in broiler for a shorter time, if you prefer yours a little more brown leave in just a little bit longer. Keep in mind the broiler gets the job pretty quick. So check in after 30 seconds or so to check the status of your marshmallows and about 10 seconds after that until desired colored is achieved.
Let bars cool completely for best serving results. If you don’t mind gooey, messy cuts (who doesn’t) you can cut into the bars a few minutes after taking out of the oven. If you want super clean cuts, look down below for the best results!
