Apple Cheddar and Bacon Panini

This super easy and extremely tasty panini is the perfect Fall Harvest Lunch. Every bite is cozy and comforting. It doesn't come short of flavor. A cross between a sweet and savory, making this sandwich finger licking good!

  • 4 slices soughdough bread
  • 4 tbsp butter, room temprature
  • 4 tbsp cherry jam or backberry jam
  • 1 cup shredded or sliced aged cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded manchego cheese
  • 1 medium honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced.
  • 6-8 slices cooked bacon


  • Heat a Panini press or a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Spread the outside of each slice of bread with butter. In the inside part of the bread, spread cherry or blackberry jam. On top of the jam, evenly layer the cheeses, apples, and bacon. Then add the top piece of the bread, buttered side facing up.
  • Place the sandwiches, one at a time into the Panini press or large skillet and cook until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve each sandwich with a side of jam and fresh thyme if desired. Now it's time to eat!
